At MSDC Publisher, we strive to maintain fairness, transparency, and professionalism in all our publishing processes. Please read the following refund and cancellation policy carefully before making any payments for publication services.
1. Cancellation of Manuscript Submission
- Authors may cancel their manuscript submission at any time before the peer review process begins without incurring any charges.
- If a manuscript has not yet been accepted or published, no publication fee is applicable and no refund is necessary.
2. Refund Policy
A. Refund Before Publication
- If the author decides to withdraw the manuscript after acceptance but before publication, a partial refund (up to 50%) of the publication fee may be provided.
- The decision to issue a refund will depend on:
- Editorial work already completed
- Peer review processing
- Administrative overhead
B. Refund After Publication
- Once a paper has been published online, no refund will be provided under any circumstances.
- This is because publication costs (DOI, indexing, hosting, editorial review, and administrative fees) are already incurred.
3. Reasons Where Refunds Are Not Applicable
- Author requests refund after publication.
- Author fails to provide the final documents (e.g., Copyright Form) in a timely manner.
- Manuscript is rejected due to plagiarism, ethical misconduct, or violations of guidelines.
- Delays caused by authors in revisions or documentation.
- Disagreement between authors or disputes over authorship.
4. Withdrawal After Acceptance
- Withdrawal requests after acceptance but before publication must be submitted in writing via email.
- The request should include:
- Manuscript ID
- Title of the paper
- Reason for withdrawal
- Consent of all authors (if multiple)
5. Technical Issues
- If a payment is made in error or duplicated, the author must notify us within 7 days, and a full refund will be processed after verification.
- All refund claims related to payment errors must include proof of transaction.
6. Processing Time
- Approved refund requests will be processed within 7–10 working days.
- Refunds will be credited via the original method of payment.
